Accommodation

What are the check in and check out time?
Check in starts from 3:00pm, and please check out by 11:00am.
* Please ask the front desk for luggage storage before and after check-in and check-out.
What is your cancellation policy and privacy policy?
The cancellation fees are as follows.
21 days – 4 days prior: 10% of accommodation fee
3 days – on the day: 100% of accommodation fee
* Cancellation fee may differ for some accommodation packages.
Are there any non-smoking rooms?
All guest rooms are non-smoking. Thank you for your understanding.
What amenities are in the room?。

In order to preserve and protect the beautiful nature of Yaeyama Islands eternally, we are carrying out environmental protection activities with our guests. We don’t provide amenities such as toothbrush, comb, and razor in the room, but you can request them at the front desk if needed.

Is internet available?
Customers with laptops or other devices can connect the wireless LAN in the front lobby.
* There is no internet available in the guestrooms.
What are the accommodation fees, equipment and other service for children?
7- to 11-year-olds are subject to 70% of adult fee, no matter any extra bed is requested.
4- to 6-year-olds are subject to 50% of adult fee, no matter any extra bed is requested.
0- to 3-year-olds stay for free when no extra bed is requested.
We offer free baby food for babies around 7 months old or above. Please reserve in advance.
Please contact the front desk in case of illness or injury.
Can three or more people stay in one room?
When three or more people stay in one room, you will use the regular beds and the day bed (bed making service available). When four people stay in one room: two regular beds for two people + one day bed for two people.
When five people stay in one room: three regular beds for three people + one day bed for two people. * When unfolding the daybed, one piece is about 60cm less than the other.

We are sorry that we do not provide room service.
Can I see the sea from the room?
Because there is a windbreak in front of the hotel, some rooms do not have a view of the sea.
Is there a shuttle bus from Iriomote Island Uehara Port?
 Free shuttle: Shuttle between Iriomote Hotel and Iriomote Island Uehara Port runs according to the arrival and departure times of high-speed ferries. (reservation is not required)
◎ When ferries to Uehara are canceled, please use ferries to Ohara Port instead.
・ When ferries to Uehara are canceled, the shuttle buses run between Iriomote Island Ohara Port and the hotel according to some of the arrival and departure times of the ferries.
*Depends on schedule, the shuttle buses may not be there when a ferry arrives. For details, please check “Hotel Shuttle Bus / Transportation Information.” * When ferries to Uehara operates, no shuttles go to Ohara Port.
・ You can take the bus operated by the ferry company when there are no shuttles.
* For details, please contact each ferry company at Ishigaki Remote Island Terminal.
Do you accept credit cards? Are there post offices, banks, etc.?
We accept VISA, Master, JCB, AMEX, Diners cards Post office: 15 minutes by car from the hotel.
Bank: None on Iriomote Island.

Restaurant

I want to go out early in the morning, when do you start to serve breakfast?
Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 9:30am (enter by 9:30am).
Can I smoke at the restaurant?
All seats (indoor seats and terrace seats) of the restaurant are non-smoking. Please use the designated smoking area in the building.
Is there a dress code for the restaurant?
There are no dress codes for the restaurant. Please feel free to come in your favorite clothes.
Is there a private room in the restaurant?
We are sorry that there are no private rooms in the restaurant.
What kind of alchoholic drinks does the restaurant provide?
We provide Awamori, Japanese sake, Western style alchoholic drinks, etc.
About the banquet hall and meeting room
The overview of the banquet hall is as follows.

Pool & Ryukyu Spa

What are the precautions of the pool?
We decline customers whose swimwear against our hotel pool image, who have tattoos (including stickers), or who are excessive drunken. Please note that you may be asked to leave due to previous reasons or behaviors that bother other users, such as bringing in large camera equipment. The bothering behaviors will be decided by our staff. This pool only open to guests who stay in our hotel (not visitors stay in another place or the one for a day trip.)
What are the precautions for children?
For safety, children under 13 years old must be accompanied by their adult (at least 18 years old) guardian. (13-17 years old or high school students are not considered as adult guardians.) Besides, guardians must enter the pool if the children cannot swim without floats (floating equipment). Thank you for your cooperation.

Reservations are required for all programs. Early reservations are recommended so that you can select your preferred time and programs.

What are the precautions for activities?
(1) Most activities we introduced are for small groups.
There will be lots of customers in the busy seasons such as Golden Week in May and from July to August. It may be impossible to sign a large group, such as family members or group travelers, on many activities after check-in. We recommend you to make a reservation in advance if you have preferred activities.
(2) If you are pregnant, there are many activities such as canoeing and trekking that you cannot participate due to safety concerns. Please contact us in advance.
(3) Our activity tours only provide to our hotel guests.
For activity tours, we recommend making your reservations before visiting the hotel.
(4) Activities may “change” or “cancel” on the day or before it starts due to weather and sea conditions. Thank you for your understanding.
(5) The contents and fees are subject to change without notice. Please check the details before your inquiry or reservation.
(6) We won’t charge any cancellation fee if you cancel or change the date of participation before 6:00pm two days prior.
Please note: No refund if you cancel or make any modifications after that.
(7) The prices include consumption tax.

We are sorry that we don't have roomwear or yukata for children.

Please ask the front desk or the restaurant for disinfection or microwave disinfection.
In case of sickness or injury, what should be done?
Please contact the front desk.
If medical attention is needed, we will direct you to the nearest clinic (15 minutes by car). There are also thermometer and simple medicine at the front desk.

I would like to see rare animals by participating in the tour.
Iriomote Island is home to many rare wild endemic animals. "Iriomote cats" are only about 100 individuals, "crested serpent eagles" are said to be about 130 individuals on the island. It's hard to meet these animals, but you might see them if you look where the tour guide looks.

Is there a shuttle bus from the nearest port?
Free shuttle: Shuttle between Iriomote Hotel and Iriomote Island Uehara Port runs according to the arrival and departure times of high-speed ferries. (reservation is not required) There may not be shuttles between Port and Hotel at certain times. * You can take the buses of various ferry companies by the ferry tickets.

◎ When ferries to Uehara are canceled, please use ferries to Ohara Port instead.
Please contact the ferry companies for details when you purchase the ferry ticket at Ishigaki Island Remote Island Terminal
・ Yaeyama Kanko Ferry: There are public buses between Ohara Port and the hotel (4 buses a day)
・ Anei Kanko Ferry: There are shuttle buses between Ohara Port and the hotel. (Please contact the Anei Kanko Counter at Ishigaki Island Remote Island Terminal)
・ The buses may be crowded depending on the number of passengers and luggage.
How can I get here from Ishigaki Airport?
・There are taxis and public buses running from Ishigaki Airport to Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal.
・There are ferries from Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal to Iriomote Island (Uehara Port, about 45 minutes)
*If the ferries to Uehara Port cancel due to bad weather, etc., please use the ferries to Iriomote Island Ohara Port
Can I use a mobile phone or wireless LAN?
There is no Softbank's signal on the island. Wireless LAN is available in the lobby on the 1st floor of the hotel.
Can I stay with my pet?
Pets are not allowed to stay in the hotel. (Assistance dogs such as guide dogs are allowed)
Is there any golf course nearby?
There are no golf courses nearby.
